In
the article “HYPE”, by kale Lasn, the author states that advertisement makes
people mental pollutants, it comes anywhere in our live, it even place such as
on the nozzle or bank machine where is unusual place. People cannot get away
from the ad pollution; people even cannot avoid ad pollution in their live.
Since I finished read this article, I am so agree with author’s opinion. I believe
that advertisement makes our life bad.
Advertisement
makes children unhealthy. We all know children are hope of the future but their
ability of self-control is very low. Sometimes they don’t know what is good and
bad. So they need parents to teach them what is correct. However, advertisement
always very fancy, it attracts children to buy what is they advertised, but
most of ads are not good for the children, such as fast-food makes children
becomes a fat. It is not healthy. Some toy is very dangerous. I saw a electric
fan sale in china. It is a mini fan, but it is spin very high speed when turned
it o. if the children put their finger on the fan, it would cut their finger,
so it is very dangerous toy, but the fan’s ad always on the TV. Therefore a lot
of children want to buy it because they sew the ad on the TV. It is definitely
not good for children.
Advertisement
makes people waste their money. A lot of ad exaggerates their product and try
to lie to the audience. Obviously, they want to sell their product. However,
overstate their product make people waste their money. Because sometimes the
product is not that good, the product is overstates by ad. I bought a pair of
shakable dumbbell. When I sew the ad on the TV is very good, it can builds my
figure stronger, lose fat and gains muscle. The model has very beautiful and
perfect figure in the ad and it notes that if people use that dumbbell, their body
will become like the model. Later on I brought the shakable dumbbell and use it
for a month. But the dumbbell broke just because I shake it. Is it shakable dumbbells
right? In fact, it is not working for build muscle at all. It is very bad
quality product. Therefore I wasted money bought a product which is not useful
and low quality.
In
conclusion, advertisement can help the company sell their product but makes our
live bad.
